So after a few months of grappling over how the online digital music movement works, the EP is finally up and ready for your download at iTunes, AmazonMP3, e-music, Rhapsody, Napster, Amie Street, LaLa, ShockHound, …. well you get the idea…

Sorry for the few weeks off. I’ve been getting into the swing of things for fall. There’s a lot going on…
One thing I’d love to announce is I’m currently working on a new project. It will mostly be a collection of both old and recent songs. Some of the songs that for one reason or another didn’t end up being recorded and others that have been re-written. I love being in the studio again. The creative process when producing an album is one of my favorite things about music…

The plan is to have it completed no later than April ’09. I’ll keep you posted…

Berklee College of Music

In September I’ll be starting a program through the Berklee College of Music in Boston. The emphasis is primarily studio production with Pro Tools, Reason, and Ableton Live, but there will be some theory and arranging involved as well.

Of course I’m excited as you can imagine. Berklee is world renown for the education in pop and contemporary music they offer.

My goal in all of this is to acquire more skills in the area of studio production and music technology so that the ministry that God has called me to would be served well as it relates to making great records of the songs that God has given me. We’ve all been given a skill set and God has called us to be faithful stewards of those gifts and talents for the proclamation of his gospel….

My first course is a 12 week study in Propellerhead’s software Reason. I’ll be sharing what I learn with you as I go….

Mali Reunion Show

Just a reminder of the reunion show coming up this Saturday night…
All you local friends of Mali in the triangle area come check it out…. It’s a free gig and should be filled to the brim with nostalgia, but more than that we hope to honor what God did during that great season a few a years ago.

So I just got a new tool for writing and scoring all types of music. It’s said to be the best notation software available.

I got it mostly for writing choir parts for our choir at Grace, but it will basicly do anything.

I’ll soon be putting all of the songs I’ve written in sheet music format. You’ll be able to access them here at my site for free downloads.

Booking

I’d love to come and play for your church or ministry event. I travel with 3 to 6 people in my band depending on the nature of the event, and at times my lovely wife Katie will also join me…

I’m currently booking everything myself and do not use an agency for scheduling gigs.
