Practical Evangelism

Seminars on Evangelism are usually poorly attended. At least the ones I’ve seen. These books by Randy Newman called, Questioning Evangelism and Corner Conversations helps to demystify evangelism – bringing it down to earth.
The better known methods of Evangelism that have been around for some time are what we normally think of when we hear the word Evangelism. Street preachers, door-to-door knockers, or of course the well spoken one-man crusade like Billy Graham are usually the first things that come to mind.

These are no doubt methods that have worked. The gospel can be shared in multiple ways, using multiple strategies. But we’re thinking too narrowly if this is all we think of. Every believer is called to “make disciples of all nations…”

The ideas presented in these books are helpful for broadening your view of what it means to share your faith in a day-to-day, practical, easy to learn way. And the great thing is that practical evangelism is something you can do for the rest of your life.
